Hotel Director of Sales

Overview

Lead hotel revenue growth as Director of Sales, building strong business relationships and turning market opportunities into bookings. You’ll guide sales strategy, manage and develop the sales team, and partner across departments to deliver a consistent guest and client experience.

Duties

• Set sales and business development priorities; monitor progress toward sales goals using analytics and sales reporting tools.
• Lead, coach, and develop sales staff; manage sales strategy and development teams, including executive-level team management as needed.
• Drive outside sales, business-to-business (B2B) and enterprise selling, corporate account management, prospecting, negotiation, and deal closing.
• Build customer relationships through clear client communication, responsive customer service, and ongoing account management.
• Use Salesforce, Salesforce Cloud, or other customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales management systems; collaborate with marketing and hotel teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated sales leadership, management, business development management, and team development skills in a corporate sales environment.
• Experience meeting or exceeding sales goals, managing accounts, negotiating, and closing deals; strong analysis, analytics, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms and sales analytics and reporting tools.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, customer relationship building, and client communication skills.
• Hotel sales experience is valuable. Technology sales, technical sales, or software as a service (SaaS) experience may be relevant, but is not required.

Pay: $71,600.00 - $86,300.00 per year
