WE’RE HIRING: HOSPITALITY OPERATIONS MANAGER

Pre-Opening, Operations & Business Growth

Alegria Hospitality Ventures | Pulilan, Bulacan

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Hospitality Operations Manager to spearhead the operations, pre-opening preparations, and business growth of our boutique hospitality ventures. This is a highly involved leadership role for someone who enjoys building businesses, organizing teams, solving problems, and personally driving execution.

We are a growing hospitality business with small, lean teams. We need someone who can take initiative, work independently, and turn plans into results—not someone who simply delegates tasks.

OUR VENTURES:

  • Balai Alegria / Alegría Private Wine Estate -

A 3,000-square-meter property with a four-room boutique resort, transitioning into a members-only wine, dining, and private-gathering destination.

  • Alegría at North Polo Club -

A 100-seat restaurant currently under development, approximately 2 kilometers from the Estate, with a target opening of March 15, 2027.

  • Café Alegría (Planned)

An approximately 20-square-meter boutique café along the highway, near the Wine Estate.

All three ventures are located within the same area in Pulilan, Bulacan. These are small businesses requiring resourcefulness, practical systems, and hands-on leadership.

THE ROLE

  • Reporting directly to ownership, you will lead day-to-day operations, coordinate pre-opening activities, manage people and resources, and drive sales and business performance.
  • Ownership provides strategic direction, approves major budgets and commitments, and supports business development. You will be responsible for organizing and executing approved plans, addressing operational concerns, and ensuring consistent follow-through.
  • You will supervise existing personnel, including staff responsible for sales, inquiries, and reservations, while helping recruit and develop additional team members as the businesses expand.
  • You should be comfortable personally handling important tasks while building a capable team that can manage routine operations independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Operations & Property Management
  • Oversee housekeeping, room readiness, cleanliness, gardening, grounds upkeep, maintenance, repairs, security, and utilities.
  • Supervise guest experience, inquiries, reservations, bookings, and complaint resolution.
  • Lead restaurant, wine/bar, café, private dining, and event operations as each venture becomes operational.
  • Coordinate kitchen and service operations with the chef and designated team leads.
  • Establish practical service standards, property inspections, and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure daily operational concerns are resolved promptly without constant owner follow-up.
  1. Sales, Marketing & Business Growth
  • Develop and execute practical sales and marketing activities within approved budgets.
  • Supervise sales and reservations personnel, ensuring timely responses, consistent follow-ups, and effective booking conversion.
  • Drive resort bookings, memberships, celebrations, private dining, corporate events, restaurant visits, and café sales through the assigned teams.
  • Recommend pricing, packages, promotions, and revenue opportunities.
  • Coordinate marketing and business development support, monitor results, and implement improvements.
  • Work toward agreed revenue targets while managing operating costs and profitability.
  1. People & Financial Management
  • Lead staff recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance monitoring, and accountability.
  • Oversee attendance, payroll preparation, and coordination with accounting.
  • Prepare operating budgets, cash requirements, forecasts, and regular management reports.
  • Manage purchasing, suppliers, receiving, inventory, wastage, and operating expenses.
  • Implement practical controls for cash handling, POS transactions, collections, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate permits, safety requirements, and operating compliance.
  1. Pre-Opening & Business Development
  • Spearhead pre-opening preparations for Alegría at North Polo Club and future hospitality concepts.
  • Manage opening timelines, manpower requirements, sourcing, procurement, and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate directly with chefs, contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Develop practical SOPs, reporting systems, training programs, and service simulations.
  • Ensure each venture is operationally ready for opening and support its initial operating period.

This is a hands-on management position. You must be willing to personally move work forward, especially during the early stages when teams and systems are still being established.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Relevant experience in hospitality operations, preferably with exposure to both property management and food and beverage.
  • Proven ability to independently manage day-to-day operations and lead small teams.
  • Good commercial judgment, with an understanding of sales, operating costs, and profitability.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
  • Resourcefulness and willingness to work hands-on within realistic startup budgets.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and operating schedules.
  • Clear, proactive communication and confidence working directly with ownership.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Pulilan, Bulacan.

Pre-opening experience is an advantage.

Experienced Operations Managers, Resident Managers, Assistant General Managers, Restaurant Operations Managers, and comparable hospitality professionals ready for broader responsibility are welcome to apply.

We value initiative, reliability, practical problem-solving, and a genuine sense of ownership over corporate titles.

COMPENSATION & GROWTH OPPORTUNITY

Pre-Opening Monthly Basic Salary: ₱40,000–₱50,000

  • Additional performance-based bonuses tied to agreed operational and business targets.
  • Salary review upon commercial opening of Alegría at North Polo Club.
  • Career growth opportunities as our hospitality ventures expand.

TARGET JOINING DATE
