The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining home automation and Extra-Low Voltage systems across residential and commercial projects in the UAE. This role involves both site-based work and coordination with clients, engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure systems are installed safely, correctly, and according to project specifications. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, test, and commission home automation and ELV systems. Work with systems including: Home automation and smart-home controls CCTV and video surveillance Access control systems Structured cabling and data networks Video intercom systems Background Music and Public Address systems Gate barriers and automatic gate systems Other related low-current systems Perform cable pulling, dressing, labeling, termination, and continuity testing. Install control panels, sensors, keypads, cameras, speakers, network equipment, and other field devices. Read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and project specifications. Program and configure devices according to project requirements and manufacturer guidelines. Diagnose system faults and complete repairs and corrective maintenance efficiently. Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections. Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution. Maintain accurate records of installation work, testing results, service visits, and material usage. Prepare systems for client demonstrations, inspections, and final handover. Provide basic system training and technical assistance to clients when required. Follow company procedures and UAE health and safety requirements at all times. Qualifications and Experience Diploma, ITI certification, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or a related technical field. Previous experience installing and maintaining home automation or ELV systems. Practical knowledge of CCTV, access control, structured cabling, intercom, BGM/PA, and automation systems. Strong understanding of cable termination, electrical safety, network connectivity, and fault diagnosis. Ability to use testing tools such as multimeters, cable testers, and network testers. Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Good troubleshooting, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a project team. Willingness to travel and work at project sites across the UAE. Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage. Previous UAE or GCC experience is preferred.
