This role will commence on a part-time basis , with the intention for the successful candidate to progress into a full-time Assistant Manager position as they develop within the role. For the right person, there is a clear long-term pathway to progress into a Studio Manager position . Alongside our BFT studio, the location also offers Recovery 10x, Reformer Pilates, a Nutrition Smoothie Bar and a Beauty Salon , creating a unique environment within the local fitness and wellness community. About the Role Working closely with the Studio Owner and Head Coach , you'll play an important role in the growth and day-to-day success of BFT Burwood. The role will combine: Sales | Coaching | Leadership | Member Experience | Studio Operations Your responsibilities will include: Sales & Business Growth Following up new leads and converting enquiries into memberships Conducting studio tours and membership consultations Following up prospects and re-engaging leads Working towards weekly and monthly sales targets Building strong relationships with prospective and existing members Supporting sales and growth initiatives Coaching & Member Experience Coaching BFT group fitness sessions Creating an energetic and motivating training environment Building genuine relationships with members Supporting member retention and engagement Helping members stay accountable and achieve their goals Leading by example on the studio floor Leadership & Studio Operations Working alongside the Studio Owner and Head Coach on the day-to-day running of BFT Burwood Supporting the coaching team Helping maintain high studio standards Assisting with staff development and performance Supporting challenges, events and member initiatives Helping ensure BFT Burwood consistently delivers an exceptional member experience Career Progression We're looking for someone who wants to grow with the business . The successful candidate will start part-time , allowing both you and the business to establish the right fit. As you develop your skills, demonstrate leadership and take on additional responsibility, the goal is to progress you into: Part-Time Assistant Manager → Full-Time Assistant Manager → Studio Manager You'll work directly with the Studio Owner and Head Coach , giving you valuable experience in sales, team leadership, member retention, studio operations and business performance. We want to invest in someone who has the ambition to eventually take ownership of the day-to-day management of the studio . About You We're looking for someone who is: Passionate about fitness and coaching Confident and comfortable with sales A strong communicator and relationship builder Energetic, positive and highly motivated Proactive and accountable Organised and able to manage multiple priorities Interested in developing their leadership and management skills Comfortable having sales conversations and following up leads Looking for a long-term career opportunity Ideally, you will have: BFT coaching experience – highly preferred Group fitness coaching experience Sales experience , preferably in fitness, health, wellness or a customer-focused environment Previous leadership or management experience is advantageous, but not essential We're willing to develop the right person who has the attitude, ambition and drive to become a great Studio Manager.
