Jaan Restaurant is looking for a confident and experienced Senior Waiter/Waitress to join our Front of House team. We are seeking a hospitality professional who is passionate about guest experience, communicates confidently in English, and can deliver exceptional service to VIP guests in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role includes guest service leadership, team support, billing oversight, and ensuring the highest hospitality standards are maintained at all times.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a busy restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment

Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

Experience serving and interacting with VIP guests

Strong understanding of hospitality, service etiquette, and guest relations

Confident, professional, and well-presented

Experience handling guest concerns and resolving issues professionally

Comfortable overseeing billing procedures, POS systems, and cash handling

Able to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods

Positive attitude with strong teamwork and leadership skills

Must currently be based in the UAE

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional, and personalised guest experiences from arrival to departure
• Provide attentive and discreet service to VIP guests and special occasions
• Lead and support the front-of-house team during service
• Maintain exceptional service standards, grooming, and table presentation
• Communicate menu knowledge confidently and assist guests with recommendations
• Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
• Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and management teams
• Ensure guest requests, dietary requirements, and allergies are communicated accurately
• Support staff training and uphold restaurant service standards
• Oversee guest billing procedures and ensure accurate cash and POS transactions
• Assist with restaurant events, special functions, and operational requirements
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards throughout service areas
