Head of Supply Chain

Overview

The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for leading global supply chain planning, inventory management, sourcing, logistics, and S&OP processes to ensure product availability and efficient fulfillment of business demand. The role collaborates closely with commercial, operations, finance, manufacturing, and external partners to optimize inventory, improve supply chain performance, support business growth, and drive operational efficiency across global markets.

Duties

• · Manage inventory and understand lead times for each product to replenish the inventory globally as needed. Understand the key markets (crops) and growing seasons throughout the world.

· Develop processes to improve inventory space requirements and product flows. Ensure that warehouse capacity is maximized and quality/on-time delivery levels improve to match future business growth plans.

· Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of supply chain and purchasing operations.

· Manage relationship with third party manufacturer for global production and distribution of bulk product portfolio. Work with warehouses and third-party vendors to manage regional repackaging requirements to meet sales demand and fulfilment of customer orders.

· Lead global monthly S&OP process through consolidation and rationalization of regional forecasts for commercial business leaders. Highlight products with low forecast accuracy and work with teams to improve.

· Support financial working capital analysis by providing monthly global inventory, purchasing and payable projection updates.

· Manage regional third-party warehouse inventory through monthly book to book reconciliations. Perform quarterly slow moving and obsolete inventory analysis and act, as necessary. Support annual financial audit.

· Lead cross functional project teams for key strategic products to ensure global milestones are met and business stays on track to achieve future growth plans.

· Participate and collaborate as member of Global PI AgSciences leadership team and improve effectiveness of leadership team

· Manage logistics of purchases and shipments both domestically and internationally.

· Perform supply chain related transactions in SAP system.

· Develop, guide, mentor and set direction for supply chain team and create a global supply chain counsel for sharing of best practices.

Requirements

10+ years of supply chain related experience

Experience in inventory management, sourcing, logistics, supply planning and people management

Agriculture industry experience preferred

Project management experience preferred

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
