Role Description The Director role at OSINT Switzerland is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The Director will oversee the association’s strategic direction, operational management, and growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with its mission to advance open-source intelligence. Daily responsibilities include leading teams, coordinating projects and events, managing budgets and resources, and building partnerships with organizations and institutions in the intelligence, security, and academic sectors. The Director will also support member engagement, guide educational and training programs, and represent OSINT Switzerland at conferences, meetings, and public forums. The individual in this role will work closely with the board and stakeholders to strengthen the association’s impact and visibility.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in associations, NGOs, or similar organizations, with the ability to define strategy, manage teams, and drive initiatives.
• Strong background in intelligence, open-source information analysis, security studies, or a related field, with familiarity with OSINT techniques and ethical standards.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, including experience overseeing budgets, coordinating events, and managing multiple concurrent activities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, build partnerships, and represent the organization publicly.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic and/or other languages is an advantage.
• Relevant academic degree (e.g., International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, Information Science, or related discipline) or equivalent professional experience.
• Comfort working on-site in Cairo, Egypt, with the flexibility to attend meetings, events, and conferences as needed.
