We're a growing team and need to modernise our team's support as we move from a big small company into a small BIG company. You will oversee all aspects of talent management, employee engagement, HR operations, build and manage our safety systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic HR or Safety professional to make a meaningful impact across the entire organisation. We can shape this role for the right candidate, with flexible hours, some part-time working and occasional work from home to suit. Based at our Perivale depot (car parking on site and walking distance from Perivale tube station), and there will be occasional travel to our sites near Gatwick, Derby and Sheffield. Responsibilities - Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and systems that support organisational goals and promote a high-performance culture. - Manage employee relations, performance management processes and succession planning to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. There may be some organisational design and systems implementation to deliver these aims. - Deliver and manage our safety system, ensuring that our organisation is protected and employees can work safely every day. - Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while maintaining transparent communication across all levels of the organization. Qualifications - Proven experience managing human resources functions with supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment. - Qualifications such as CIPD or NEBOSH will be valuable, and a background in operational management will be useful. - Demonstrated expertise in talent management, employee engagement strategies, and HR metrics analysis. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. - Management skills including supervising teams, coordinating projects and leading change initiatives effectively.
