We are seeking an experienced, values-led Head of Operations to lead high-quality services for carers of all ages. You will oversee operational performance, service quality, staff development and continuous improvement, using effective digital and CRM systems to strengthen our impact. Based at Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre, the role includes local travel and hybrid working opportunities, subject to organisational needs. Hours are mainly Monday to Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work. About the role · Lead responsive, high-quality services for carers across Wigan. · Manage and develop teams, resources, budgets, contracts and performance. · Maintain strong safeguarding, quality, compliance and inclusive practice. · Review and improve digital and CRM systems, data quality, analysis and reporting. · Use performance information and feedback to improve services and impact. · Build effective partnerships, support strategy and deputise for the Chief Officer. About you You will be an experienced operational leader from a care, charity or community setting, able to turn data and feedback into practical improvements. · Strong leadership, communication and partnership-working skills. · Experience of service development, change, budgets, performance and contracts. · Knowledge of safeguarding, complaints and relevant quality standards. · Experience of digital engagement, data systems and systems improvement. · A relevant degree or professional qualification. · A current driving licence and willingness to travel.
