About Us

Brian Brothers is a growing portfolio of fashion brands, including Jordan Craig, See You In Paradise, and other emerging brands. We are focused on building distinctive brands through compelling product, strong creative, and innovative marketing.

Jordan Craig is a leading NYC-founded streetwear brand specializing in premium denim and contemporary apparel. Since 1989, the brand has built its reputation on quality craftsmanship, distinctive design, and a deep connection to the culture that shapes modern streetwear.

See You In Paradise is a streetwear brand with a distinctive product offering spanning denim, graphic apparel, coordinated sets, heavyweight fleece, and statement outerwear. With an emphasis on recognizable silhouettes, distinctive washes, and contemporary streetwear styling, See You In Paradise serves customers looking for expressive, fashion-forward products.

Across our portfolio, we are committed to developing distinctive brands, creating compelling collections, and identifying opportunities for continued growth.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional merchandising leader who can elevate our brands to their next level of product excellence and commercial success.

Brian Brothers is seeking a highly experienced, commercially minded, and culturally connected Head of Merchandising to lead product strategy and merchandising across Jordan Craig, See You In Paradise, and other brands within our growing portfolio.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who knows how to build products that customers genuinely want, recognize opportunities competitors miss, and translate strong product instincts into measurable business results.

We need someone who can recognize what makes each brand unique and develop a clear product vision that strengthens its identity, sharpens its assortment, and creates meaningful opportunities for growth. This person will help push our collections forward through stronger product decisions, compelling newness, and a deeper understanding of the customers and cultures that shape streetwear.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of direct experience in men's streetwear and urbanwear merchandising and an authentic understanding of the culture, consumer, and product that drive the category. They have a proven track record of building successful collections, making decisive product calls, and balancing creative vision with commercial discipline.

This person must also understand how to merchandise across distinct sales channels. Our wholesale and digital businesses serve customers with different needs, shopping behaviors, price expectations, and product preferences. We need someone who can develop a cohesive brand vision while strategically tailoring assortments to each channel, including identifying products that should be exclusive to wholesale or digital.

Across our portfolio, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, challenging existing assumptions, and ensuring every product earns its place in the assortment. You will help determine what we create, what we invest in, what we discontinue, and where we have opportunities to differentiate our brands.

Working closely with Design, Sales, Planning, Production, Marketing, and company leadership, you will shape product direction, seasonal assortment strategies, channel-specific merchandising, and the continued growth of our portfolio.

We are looking for a proven product leader who can combine authentic streetwear expertise, exceptional merchandising instincts, and commercial discipline to elevate our brands and drive profitable growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Vision & Merchandising Strategy

  • Establish clear, differentiated merchandising strategies for Jordan Craig, See You In Paradise, and other brands within the Brian Brothers portfolio.

  • Evaluate existing collections, product categories, and seasonal releases to identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and growth.
  • Determine which products to develop, expand, refine, discontinue, or elevate using cultural insight, product judgment, consumer understanding, and commercial data.
  • Build balanced assortments of core franchises, proven bestsellers, newness, and fashion-forward statements.
  • Identify whitespace and emerging opportunities that can differentiate individual brands and create new sources of revenue and profit.
  • Maintain distinct brand identities while identifying opportunities to share merchandising insights, processes, and best practices across the portfolio.
  • Challenge existing assumptions and bring fresh thinking, urgency, and accountability to product decisions.

  • Understand what makes products culturally relevant, commercially compelling, and distinctive in a competitive marketplace.
  • Stay ahead of shifts in silhouettes, fits, washes, colors, graphics, fabrications, styling, and consumer preferences.
  • Distinguish between trends with lasting commercial potential and short-lived hype that does not warrant investment.
  • Translate cultural observations, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence into actionable product direction.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the target consumer for each brand, including how they shop, what motivates their purchases, and what makes each brand relevant to them.
  • Recognize that Jordan Craig and See You In Paradise have distinct product identities and consumer opportunities, and develop assortments that reflect those differences.
  • Build collections that feel authentic to their respective consumers while remaining commercially viable and true to each brand's identity.

Denim & Apparel Product Development

  • Evaluate samples and collections with a critical eye for fit, quality, construction, price, differentiation, and market relevance.
  • Understand manufacturing, costing, sourcing, margins, and production timelines.
  • Ensure every product has a clear purpose within its assortment and a compelling reason for the customer to buy it.
  • Adapt product strategies to each brand's positioning, aesthetic, customer, and commercial opportunity.

Wholesale & Digital Channel Merchandising

  • Lead merchandising strategy across wholesale and digital channels for the brands within the portfolio, ensuring each assortment supports the brand while meeting the distinct needs of its customers and distribution models.
  • Understand the differences between wholesale accounts, wholesale end consumers, and digital shoppers, translating those insights into channel-specific product, assortment, pricing, and presentation strategies.
  • Determine which products should be shared across channels and which should be exclusive to wholesale or digital to create differentiated customer experiences and incremental business opportunities.
  • Develop channel-specific assortment architecture, product depth, price points, and seasonal priorities based on customer demand, sales potential, distribution requirements, and profitability.
  • Partner with Sales to understand wholesale account needs, market opportunities, retailer feedback, and the assortments required to support key accounts and drive sell-through.
  • Partner with Digital, E-commerce, and Marketing teams to understand online shopping behavior, product discovery, conversion, customer preferences, and opportunities to improve digital performance.
  • Ensure digital assortments balance core products, newness, exclusive styles, and compelling product stories.
  • Establish strategies for channel exclusives, ensuring exclusivity strengthens customer engagement, differentiation, and incremental sales rather than unnecessarily fragmenting the assortment.
  • Evaluate performance by brand and channel, identifying opportunities to improve sell-through, average selling price, gross margin, inventory productivity, and category growth.
  • Align channel strategies with Planning, Production, and Inventory teams to manage product availability, inventory exposure, and delivery timing.
  • Use performance insights from wholesale and digital to inform future product development and assortment decisions.

Commercial Performance & Profitability

  • Take ownership of merchandising performance across the portfolio, focusing on profitable growth, stronger product productivity, and better assortment decisions.
  • Use historical sales, sell-through, gross margin, pricing, inventory, returns, and product-level performance to inform decisions.
  • Identify why products succeed or fail, considering design, fit, pricing, timing, distribution, assortment strategy, and market relevance.
  • Establish clear commercial objectives for brands, categories, franchises, and seasonal collections.
  • Improve the balance between proven products and newness, managing risk while creating opportunities for meaningful growth.
  • Partner with Planning, Sales, Production, and Finance to align assortment decisions with demand, inventory investment, margin objectives, and business needs.
  • Develop a disciplined approach to reviewing product performance and translating lessons into future seasons.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability through better product selection, price architecture, assortment depth, and allocation of development resources.
  • Use insights across the portfolio to identify transferable best practices while preserving the distinct positioning of each brand.
  • Make product decisions with a clear understanding of their potential impact on revenue, margin, inventory productivity, and long-term brand equity.

Seasonal Line Planning & Execution

  • Own the seasonal merchandising process from initial strategy and concept through line finalization and post-launch performance evaluation.
  • Establish clear category plans, price ladders, product counts, assortment architecture, and key product priorities for each brand.
  • Work closely with Design, Development, Sourcing, and Production to ensure the product vision is executed effectively.
  • Review line plans, samples, and product presentations to ensure every product earns its place in the assortment.
  • Make decisive recommendations when products lack differentiation, commercial potential, or alignment with the brand's direction.
  • Ensure collections tell a cohesive story while offering the right variety and commercial depth to serve different customers and channels.
  • Balance creativity and speed with costing, manufacturing capabilities, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Establish a repeatable process for evaluating collections before launch and learning from results after launch.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the senior merchandising authority across the Brian Brothers portfolio, partnering with company leadership to shape product strategy and business priorities.
  • Establish strong partnerships between Merchandising and Design, ensuring creative direction is supported by consumer insight and commercial rationale.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a senior merchandising role at a recognized streetwear, urbanwear, denim, or men's contemporary apparel brand.
  • A track record of significantly growing a product category, revitalizing an assortment, or improving commercial performance.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a product person first and a merchant by trade. You combine exceptional product instincts with an authentic connection to streetwear culture and a strong understanding of what drives a profitable apparel business.

You can look at a collection and identify what is compelling, what feels dated, what is missing, and what should change. You understand why certain products resonate with customers and can translate those insights into actionable decisions across design direction, assortment, pricing, and product development.

You understand that different brands require different product strategies and that different channels serve different customers. You know how to build distinct brand identities, merchandise for specific customer needs, and identify opportunities for channel-exclusive products without losing sight of the overall business.

You are creative but commercially disciplined. You trust your instincts but validate them with evidence. You can identify emerging opportunities without chasing every trend, and you understand that every product decision has implications for revenue, margin, inventory, and brand equity.

You are comfortable challenging established ways of working, making difficult decisions, and taking responsibility for results. You can communicate a compelling vision, bring teams along with you, and execute with urgency.

Above all, you have the experience and judgment to elevate the quality of our collections across the portfolio and make a measurable contribution to the business.

  • Stronger wholesale and digital assortment strategies, including successful channel-exclusive products.
  • Improved cross-functional alignment and more effective seasonal decision-making.
  • Successful application of merchandising best practices across the portfolio.
