# Head of Maintenance **Lizetta** · Bangalore City, Bengaluru, Karnataka · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role MJob Title - HOD -Maintenance Reporting to Plant Head Job Description :To ensure smooth functioning of the maintenance department with the overall objective of ensuring preventive and planned maintenance activities, meeting cost savings and safety targets in order to ensure that there is no production loss due to non-availability of machinery Support all major plant shutdowns and overhauls/ breakdowns in conjunction with production departments to ensure minimum plant downtime ¢ Participate in the budgeting exercise and provide inputs on maintenance cost estimate and other utility costs ¢ Monitor maintenance budget utilization and analyze variance to take corrective action ¢ Analyze maintenance costs based on usage of spares and consumables and identify areas of improvement Encourage cost reduction through effective utilization of spares and materials/ identifying initiatives to reduce breakdown and wastages ¢ Develop the short term and long term maintenance strategy for the Plant in line with the overall production plan ¢ Formulate end to end maintenance planning framework and prepare preventive maintenance in alignment with the production targets and schedules ¢ Plan for effective utility (air, water, electricity, air conditioning, chilling systems, air washers, piping, ducting, lighting) consumption and control ¢ nsure 100 % safety for men and machines from undue accidents happening due to machine health, installation and operations ¢ Take overall responsibility to ensure adherence to Safety standards by all employees. Also ensures that the machines are provided with Safety Gears as per the specifications Ensure usage of SAP/ERP modules in maintenance for effective recording and monitoring of maintenance data Qualification :- B E-Mechnical / B-Tech - Minimum 5-7 years of Experience Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year Application Question(s): - How many years of Experience do you have . - Are - Are you working in any of this manufacturing / auto components / engineering industry - What is your current CTC and expected CTC / Notice Period Work Location: In person
