# Head of Gov Compute Delivery, EC2 Gov **Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc.** · Herndon, Virginia, USA · `On-site` · `full-time` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Amazon* --- ### Top Skills & Match 🎯 **Ключевой стек роли:** `[Project/Program/Product Management--Technical]` `[Technical Program Management]` --- ### About the Role Application deadline: Sep 21, 2026 Frontier AI is moving faster than infrastructure has ever had to keep up with. We're hiring the Head of Gov Compute Delivery, a Senior Manager, to lead a team of Technical Program Managers to deliver billions of dollars of server and GPU capacity — staying ahead of customer demand, frontier model needs, and the next wave of AI. You'll own the team at the heart of how AWS scales for AI, keeping capacity ahead of an unprecedented demand curve, partnering across software, hardware, supply chain, networking, datacenter engineering, power, compliance, and finance teams. Your team will own near-term and long-term compute delivery at multi-gigawatt scale for Government regions, including critical decision making with highly visible leadership reporting. From day one, you'll have ownership and autonomy to set strategy and build the team that delivers it, making data-driven decisions on programs that influence leadership at the highest levels. Your team will have a front-row seat to emerging AI trends, and you'll have a real say in how AWS shows up for the most demanding workloads on earth. The candidate selected must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the TS/SCI with polygraph level. Upon start, the selected candidate will be sponsored for a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work. Key job responsibilities Own, through your team, EC2 capacity delivery against global commitments to AWS's largest Government customers and frontier-AI workloads. Produce executive-visible reporting that drives capacity, capital, and engineering-investment decisions. Set strategy and program structure where none exists, and drive cross-functional alignment at scale. Influence priorities across a diverse set of stakeholders and partners — up to VP level. Hire, grow, develop, and retain a team of TPMs; grow senior ICs into future leaders through coaching and stretch assignments. A day in the life Your morning might start with a 1:1 where you're coaching a TPM through an escalation they'll own end-to-end, then a sync with engineering and supply chain leaders on near-term GPU delivery for a frontier customer commitment, followed by a working session with datacenter engineering and power teams on capacity for a future region. By midday you're reviewing an executive briefing headed to senior leadership. You'll move between deeply technical discussions and strategic narrative writing, and you'll do both with the autonomy to make calls and the judgment to know which ones belong to your team. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field - 7+ years of people management experience - 7+ years of technical program management experience - Experience in people management - Experience in technical program management - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
