# Head – Fire Protection Design **eTechs** · Riyadh · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Location: Saudi Arabia Industry: Fire Protection / MEP / Industrial Projects Experience: 15+ Years We are looking for an experienced Head of Fire Protection Design / Fire Protection Design Manager to lead our fire-protection engineering and design team for major industrial and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the complete Fire Protection Design Department. Review and approve fire-protection system designs, drawings, calculations and technical submittals. Lead hydraulic calculations and fire-water demand calculations. Design and review hydrant, sprinkler, deluge, water-spray, foam and fire-water systems . Design and review clean-agent systems including FM-200 / Novec / inert-gas systems . Review fire pump, fire-water tank, pump-room and fire-water network designs. Ensure designs comply with NFPA, FM, UL, SBC and applicable international standards . Coordinate with consultants, clients, main contractors and project teams. Lead preparation and review of IFC drawings, BOQ, specifications, calculations and material submittals . Provide technical support to project and estimation teams. Manage and mentor fire-protection designers and engineers. Identify design issues and provide practical engineering solutions. Ensure timely completion of design deliverables across multiple projects. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Fire Protection / related Engineering discipline . 15+ years of relevant Fire Protection Design experience . Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 22, 24, 72 and 2001 . Strong experience in hydraulic calculations and fire-water network design. Experience with industrial, power, substation, oil & gas or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and fire-protection hydraulic calculation software. Experience in Saudi Arabia / GCC projects will be highly preferred. Experience with SEC / Saudi standards will be an added advantage. Strong leadership, coordination and communication skills. Preferred Candidate Profile We are particularly interested in candidates who have previously worked as: Fire Protection Design Head | Design Manager | Senior Fire Protection Engineer | Lead Fire Protection Engineer | Fire & Life Safety Design Manager Candidates with experience in Saudi Arabia, GCC, Tyco, Viking, SFFECO, Johnson Controls or other major fire-protection organizations are encouraged to apply.
