Head of Finance
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to oversee our regional financial operations, group consolidation, and regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting directly to Executive Leadership, you will lead full-spectrum finance functions, manage cross-border tax and compliance frameworks, and drive financial projections to support the group’s expansion and licensing initiatives in the Fintech sector. Key Responsibilities Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation : Lead the preparation of group management accounts, consolidated financial statements, and board reports in strict compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) across all regional entities. Regulatory Compliance & Licensing Support : Oversee regulatory financial filings with monetary and financial authorities; prepare comprehensive financial models and capital adequacy projections for new business license applications. Cross-Border Tax & Transfer Pricing : Direct international tax planning, GST/VAT filings, corporate income tax compliance, and transfer pricing documentation across operating jurisdictions. Governance & Internal Controls : Establish, refine, and enforce robust internal financial controls, risk management protocols, and authorization procedures across group entities and funds. Audit & Fund Oversight : Manage group-level statutory audits, fund audits, and tax computations in coordination with external audit firms and tax consultants. Strategic Stakeholder Management : Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with banking partners, external auditors, tax advisors, legal counsels, and regulatory bodies. Legal & Regulatory Collaboration : Partner closely with Legal and Compliance teams on corporate governance, statutory filings, M&A due diligence, and regulatory inquiries. Financial Strategy & Decision Support : Provide actionable financial analysis, treasury management, cash flow forecasting, and strategic evaluation to empower C-suite decision-making. Requirements & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized institution. Professional Certifications: Chartered Accountant (CA Singapore), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is strictly required. Experience: Minimum 8 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role (Head of Finance, Finance Director, or Financial Controller). Industry Background: Strong track record within Fintech, Payments, Financial Institutions, or Multi-Jurisdictional Financial Services environments. Technical Expertise: Deep mastery of **IFRS** and multi-entity group consolidation。 Hands-on experience with cross-border transfer pricing, corporate tax structures, and multi-currency treasury oversight. Proven track record in preparing financial models for financial regulatory licensing filings. Competencies: Strong strategic acumen, high analytical precision, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-border corporate structure.
