About the Role

Role Overview We are seeking a commercially driven Head of Accounts & Finance to manage accounting, financial reporting, treasury and banking operations for our Dubai office. The role requires demonstrated ability to secure funding facilities, negotiate financing terms and support business growth while maintaining robust financial controls and UAE regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities — Accounting & Financial Management

• Oversee daily accounting operations and monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing.
• Prepare financial statements, management accounts, MIS, budgets and cash-flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and financial reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisers and relevant authorities; strengthen internal controls.

Fundraising & Capital Management

• Identify and secure funding from banks, financial institutions, private lenders and other suitable sources.
• Arrange working capital, trade finance, overdrafts, credit lines and structured financing facilities.
• Prepare lender proposals, projections, financial models and supporting documentation.
• Lead lender discussions and negotiate pricing, covenants, collateral and disbursement terms.
• Manage funding requirements from initial assessment through approval and drawdown.

Treasury & Banking

• Build and maintain relationships with UAE and international banking partners.
• Manage liquidity, cash-flow forecasts, collections, payments and working capital.
• Monitor foreign-exchange exposure, financing costs and banking facility utilization.

Financial Planning & Business Support

• Develop annual budgets, forecasts and scenario-based financial models.
• Analyze profitability, cost drivers and capital requirements; advise senior management.
• Support expansion initiatives and identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency.

Qualifications

• Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA preferred.
• 7–8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, ideally including UAE exposure.

Required Skills

• Proven hands-on experience arranging corporate funding or bank credit facilities.
• Strong knowledge of treasury, financial modelling, reporting and UAE tax requirements.
• Excellent lender relationship management, negotiation, communication and Excel skills.
