They are part of a leading Asian crypto exchange group. They are seeking a Head of Custody to oversee their digital asset custody services. The candidate be responsible for establishing and managing a robust custody framework to safeguard their customers' digital assets. Responsibilities - Develop and implement a comprehensive digital asset custody strategy. - Establish custody policies, procedures, and controls in line with regulatory requirements. - Oversee the safekeeping, storage, and movement of digital assets. - Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate custody services with trading operations. - Manage relationships with third-party custodians and service providers. - Conduct regular audits and reviews of custody processes and systems. - Stay up to date with evolving blockchain technologies and security advancements. - Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on custody-related matters. - Prepare and present custody reports to senior management and regulatory authorities. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. - Minimum 7 years of experience in finance and/or fintech industry, with 2 years in digital asset custody or a related field. - Strong knowledge of custody practices, processes, and security protocols. - Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. - Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks related to custody services. - Excellent leadership and managerial skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Experience in building and managing high-performing teams. - Fluency in English is required.
