This role combines corporate strategy, business development, investment evaluation, and hands-on execution to drive sustainable growth and profitability. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in building businesses, developing strategic partnerships, evaluating investments, and translating market opportunities into commercially viable ventures. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market-entry strategies, and growth initiatives. - Lead venture development from market research and customer validation to launch and scaling. - Develop business cases, financial models, investment proposals, and return-on-investment assessments. - Establish strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and commercial alliances. - Assess market potential, pricing, business models, unit economics, cash flow, and capital requirements. - Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to execute business initiatives. - Present strategic recommendations and investment proposals to the CEO and senior leadership. - Monitor venture performance and recommend scaling, adjustments, or discontinuation based on business results. - Establish repeatable processes for venture evaluation, investment governance, and portfolio management. Qualifications: - Approximately 10–15+ years of professional experience , including at least 5 years in business building, venture development, investment, or business transformation. - Proven track record in business development, corporate strategy, strategic partnerships, market entry, or P&L management. - Strong commercial and financial acumen, including market sizing, financial modeling, unit economics, cash flow, and investment analysis. - Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering measurable business outcomes. - Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, problem-solving, and executive communication skills. - Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in industrial B2B, infrastructure, construction materials, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or energy. - Southeast Asian market experience, particularly in emerging markets such as Indonesia. - Exposure to acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, or corporate development. - MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, Strategy, or a related field.
