The role oversees the development and implementation of compliance programs, manages regulatory risks, and promotes a culture of integrity, ethical conduct, and sound governance across the organization. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the Bank's Compliance Department. - Ensure compliance with BSP regulations, AMLA requirements, and other applicable laws and regulatory directives. - Develop, implement, and enhance compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring programs. - Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend mitigating controls. - Liaise with regulators and oversee regulatory examinations and reporting. - Provide compliance guidance to senior management and business units. - Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the Bank. - Promote compliance awareness through training and communication initiatives. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. - At least 10 years of experience in banking compliance, risk management, audit, or related functions, with 5 years in a leadership role . - Strong knowledge of BSP regulations, Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), corporate governance, and banking compliance standards . - Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
