Job Duties: Responsible for the overall daily operations of the kitchen Maintain high quality and presentation of the dishes/food items being served. Review and implement stock control and purchasing procedures Ensure that food rotation procedures are adhered to Ensure that deliveries are met and are promptly stored away as appropriate Prepare and cook fresh food from scratch using fresh produce Ensure that there are appropriate arrangements in place to ensure that children and staff with food allergies and specific diets are given appropriate meals Prepare and deliver high-quality refreshments for school events, lunches and meetings Ensure that all kitchen equipment is kept clean, operational and maintained in a safe working condition and arrange with the Head of maintenance for repairs & services to be carried out where necessary To ensure that all staff are following the hygiene rules of the company as well as the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department. To ensure that all chefs are trained in all aspects in relation to their position. Review customer feedback with catering manager and make necessary improvements. Keeping up to date with the latest food innovation and sourcing for new products to keep up with market trends Follow up with all marketing promotion calendar, plan and implementation Requirement: A minimum of 5 years of experience Solid experience in a senior chef position in similar capacity, supervising operations ideally in international hotels, upscale chain restaurants or institutional catering environment A self-driven creative leader with the ability to create and maintain a variety of menu standards from casual to elegant Benefits: 5 Days Work Medical Benefits Family Care Leave Birthday Leave A fun and lively working environment where you will be valued and developed We offer competitive remuneration to the right candidates.
