Head of Business Systems Analysis and Engineering

Our client invites an experienced Head of Business Systems Analysis and Engineering to become a part of a successful team.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Business and Systems Analysis strategy across complex IT projects.
• Build, develop, and continuously improve requirements management standards, processes, tools, and best practices.
• Lead and strengthen the Business and Systems Analysis community, mentoring specialists and developing their expertise.
• Drive process optimization and automation, including the adoption of AI-powered tools and assistants.
• Ensure effective collaboration between business stakeholders, analysts, architects, development, and QA teams.
• Oversee requirements management throughout the SDLC, from elicitation and analysis to validation and acceptance.
• Introduce scalable approaches to requirements traceability, documentation quality, and process efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to requirements management, stakeholder alignment, and delivery processes.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis leadership roles.
• Strong background in both Business and Systems Analysis, with a solid understanding of IT architecture.
• Proven experience leading analysis functions in large-scale enterprise projects (100+ team members).
• Experience managing and developing teams, including 5+ direct reports.
• A track record of building and optimizing analysis practices, processes, and standards.
• Hands-on experience with requirements management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of BABOK, IIBA, BPMN, UML, ERD, and requirements engineering practices.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and system integration principles.
• Experience with enterprise transformation initiatives or Centers of Excellence.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
