Job Title: GSOC Operations Manager Location: Austin, TX Shift: Friday-Monday (Overnights) Fri/Mon: 10pm-6am; Sat/Sun: 6pm-6am Salary: $75,000-$81,000 Department: Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Lead a High‑Impact Global Security Operations Center As our GSOC Operations Manager, you will be the driving force behind a 24/7 global security operation that protects people, assets, and reputation across the AMER/EMEA regions. You’ll lead a high‑performing team, shape strategy, and own the day‑to‑day performance of a mission‑critical Global Security Operations Center. This is a hands‑on leadership role where your decisions matter in real time. You’ll work closely with senior client stakeholders and internal leaders, turning data, incidents, and trends into clear actions and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do Lead and develop a high‑performing team Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development for GSOC personnel across AMER/EMEA. Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Own staffing, scheduling, and coverage to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 operations. Lead onboarding, training, and professional development to build a skilled, resilient team. Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions with clear development plans. Own critical incident management Serve as the primary escalation point for critical incidents and operational challenges. Maintain a strong operational presence during high‑impact or time‑sensitive events. Ensure timely, accurate, and professional incident notifications and communications. Oversee thorough documentation and reporting in line with compliance and regulatory standards. Be the face of the GSOC to our clients Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with client stakeholders and local branch leadership. Ensure alignment with client expectations, SLAs, and service delivery standards. Promote a customer‑centric service model and high‑quality interactions at every touchpoint. Deliver regular and ad hoc reports to leadership and clients, highlighting trends, risks, and performance. Drive strategy, standards, and continuous improvement Champion the GSOC mission by identifying opportunities to expand capabilities and enhance services. Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices. Manage reporting functions (bi‑weekly, monthly, quarterly) including incident volume, alarm activity, and response performance. Ensure accuracy and integrity of operational data, including headcount tracking and system inputs (e.g., IA/OFSS). Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and reliability. Run world‑class GSOC operations Oversee daily operations including alarm monitoring, access control, incident response, and communication workflows. Monitor system performance and coordinate resolution of technical or operational issues. Maintain accountability for GSOC administrative functions, including documentation, inventory control, and facility organization. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and global security partners to ensure consistent service delivery across regions. Support investigations by coordinating resources, reviewing data, and ensuring timely follow‑up and reporting. Participate in on‑call rotations and provide leadership coverage as required. Support recruitment efforts, including interviewing and selecting top talent. What You Bring Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing teams at all levels. Proven ability to build and maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience with executive‑level reporting. Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving skills and a continuous‑improvement mindset. High attention to detail and the ability to manage complex, multi‑faceted operations in a fast‑paced environment. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security operations platforms. Ability to manage conflict, lead through change, and make sound decisions under pressure. Education & Experience High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred. Military, law enforcement, or corporate security experience preferred. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to bend, sit, lift, walk, climb stairs, and drive as needed.
