Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Supports New Vision Co-op’s stated Vision, Mission, and Business Values. - Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees always. - Provides outstanding and courteous customer service. - Drive Operational and employee efficiencies throughout the Grain Divisions. - Coach, lead and provide continuing education and constant learning environment for direct and indirect reports. - Directly supervise Grain Operations Supervisors. - Coordinate labor and equipment requirements and needs with Operations Supervisors. - Ensure the company is always fully utilizing operations employees across Grain to improve efficiencies and reduce labor costs. - Manages Grain quantity and quality and inventory by location and report issues. - Monitor grain inventory system and bin temp cables by location (if applicable). - Coordinates elevator receiving and shipping logistics and quality requirements with Grain Department Manager and Grain Operations Supervisors Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in related field and 4 years’ experience or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 7 years’ experience in grain elevator and agronomy operations. - Must have an understanding of bulk material handling and equipment operation and the ability to analyze and repair equipment failures in the safest and most efficient manner possible. - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. - Attention to detail, multi-tasking, organizational skills - Supervisory experience preferred. - Valid driver’s license.
