Google and Meta Ads Specialist (E-commerce, Part Time)
4+ years with Google and Meta Ads for e-commerce (EU experience is a plus).
Strong in tracking and tagging (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta pixel and Conversions API): you make sure the data from the e-commerce platform matches what Google, Meta and GA4 report.
Experience building full-funnel campaigns, from TOFU to BOFU.
Proactive: you bring ideas instead of waiting for instructions.
Clear communicator, with working overlap with 09:00 to 16:00 CET.
Open to working with data dashboards and AI.
Desirable skills Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce, and with product feeds (Google Merchant Center, Meta catalog).
Experience with peak-season campaigns is a pro (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Q4).
The position: you manage the Google and Meta Ads accounts of two Dutch e-commerce clients of RuVas: a home goods webshop and a furniture brand with a webshop and showroom. You work directly for RuVas as a freelancer, alongside our Amazon and design specialists.
The role: you own these accounts end-to-end. You come with plans and campaign ideas, explain your choices with data, and log what you changed or checked, so the whole team sees where things stand. We handle strategy, client contact and the structure around you.
Time: part-time. Expect about 15 to 20 hours per account per month in the first months (setup and peak season), and around 10 to 15 once the accounts run smoothly. We judge on results and clear logging, not on hours.
Paid trial (fixed USD 700): Black Friday and Cyber Monday for the home goods webshop, starting mid-November. We start with a kick-off call where we walk through the accounts together. Next to the campaigns already running, you build out a dedicated Black Friday campaign on Google and Meta: setup review and tracking check, campaign structure, audiences and ad copy, ready as drafts for our approval.
You then monitor and optimise daily through Cyber Monday and send a short report with results and learnings. If it works, we continue with both accounts.
Independence: you turn a goal into a plan and action without step-by-step instructions.
Tracking problem solving: when numbers between platforms do not match, you find the cause and fix it (server-side tagging, Conversions API, enhanced conversions).
Strategic planning: you build campaign plans around margins, seasons and profit.
Willingness to learn: curious, open to feedback and new tools, including AI.
Experience with Shopify or WooCommerce and product feeds.
