In this role you will be responsible for scoping and delivering large programs end-to-end. Responsibilities include collection of business requirements from customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules, and change management. You will lead and coordinate implementation efforts between internal teams, external teams and partners to develop optimal solutions for security. The right candidate will possess a strong program management and physical security background. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. You should be open to new challenges, extremely good at multi-tasking, innovative, creative, self-directed and a great team player. The position demands a self-starter who can navigate ambiguity, earn trust across multiple teams, and expand proven mechanisms beyond DC Security to benefit the broader organization. Success in this role means delivering high-quality analyses and strategic recommendations that influence operational direction within tight timeframes, while maintaining the highest standards for safety, security, and customer impact that define AWS Infrastructure Services. Key job responsibilities Manage cross-team and cross-organization delivery of long-term customer-facing programs Meet with internal and external customers to understand future requirements Collaborate with project stakeholders in multiple business teams to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs. Plan and coordinate events including facilitation and action item management. Lead data-driven decision making through analysis of metrics and operational data, creating KPIs to demonstrate product/program value and effectiveness.
