The candidate will be responsible for geotechnical investigations, soil and rock testing, interpretation of laboratory and field data, and preparation of technical reports in compliance with relevant standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Conduct soil, rock, and aggregate investigations for civil and infrastructure projects Supervise and interpret geotechnical laboratory tests (soil classification, compaction, shear strength, CBR, etc.) Review and analyze borehole logs, trial pits, and field investigation data Prepare geotechnical and geological reports with findings and recommendations Ensure compliance with local authority standards Coordinate with lab technicians, site teams, and project engineers Assist in foundation recommendations, earthworks, and material suitability assessments Maintain proper documentation, test records, and quality control procedures Support audits and ensure laboratory accreditation requirements are met Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Applied Geology (Master’s degree is an advantage) Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a civil engineering or geotechnical laboratory Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and construction materials Experience with UAE/Gulf construction projects preferred Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory standards is an advantage Proficiency in technical report writing Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
