Christmas is our busiest and most important time of year. We send thousands of Paddy Boxes to customers and their loved ones around the world, so every order needs to be picked, packed and prepared accurately, efficiently and with care. This position is a full time fixed term position running from Mid October to End of December with the possibility of continuing after the Christmas period. We are particularly looking for people who can commit to working with us throughout the full Christmas period and who are comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment. Previous warehouse, fulfilment or pick-and-pack experience is strongly preferred. Main Duties/Key Responsibilities: - Order Processing: Accurately pick, pack, and label customer orders for shipment. - Inventory Management: Maintain organised stock levels and assist in inventory counts. - Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and report any issues to the Warehouse Manager. - Shipping and Receiving: Receive incoming shipments, check for accuracy, and properly store products. - Packaging: Hand-packing Paddy Boxes carefully and to a consistently high standard. Checking orders to ensure the correct products and quantities have been selected. - Shipping: Prepare shipments for courier pickup, ensuring accurate documentation. - Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment. - Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfilment targets. - Efficiency: Continuously look for ways to improve warehouse processes and reduce errors. - Communication: Report any discrepancies, product shortages, or other issues to the Warehouse Manager. Preferred Skills & Requirements for the Role: Christmas at The Paddy Box is extremely busy, so reliability and a strong work ethic are essential. - Ideally have previous experience in a warehouse, fulfilment centre, pick-and-pack role or similar environment. - Experience with handheld scanners and Warehouse management systems is preferred. - Be reliable, punctual and committed to excellent attendance. - Be available to work throughout the agreed Christmas contract period. - Be comfortable working at a fast pace while maintaining a high level of accuracy. - Have excellent attention to detail. - Be organised and able to follow processes and instructions carefully. - Be comfortable working towards daily team and individual targets. - Be a strong team player who is willing to help wherever required. - Have good communication skills. - Be comfortable using basic computer or order-processing systems. - Be physically comfortable standing for extended periods and carrying out repetitive warehouse tasks. - Be able to safely lift and move boxes and stock as required. - Have the right to work in Ireland. Working Conditions: - Warehouse environment with varying temperatures. - Full-time fixed term position with potential for overtime including weekend work during peak seasons and performance bonuses. - Repetitive picking and packing tasks. - Bending, reaching and light-to-moderate lifting. - Warehouse training day will be provided by the Warehouse Manager Working Day – 9am-5pm (this may vary).
