# General Manager - Wellbeing and Leadership **High Performance Sport New Zealand** · Auckland City, Auckland · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Drive customer focus and collaboration with teams supporting our world-class athletes Auckland location High Performance Sport NZ (HPSNZ) works in partnership with National Sport Organisations (NSOs) to support athletes and coaches to deliver performances on the world stage that inspire the nation and communities. We also work in partnership to target specific sports and campaigns, contribute specialist performance support resources and expertise, and provide strategic investment to enable success. An exciting opportunity within the HPSNZ Senior Leadership Team to provide leadership and management of the Wellbeing and Leadership group. This is a critical role working with NSO leadership to continue the strategic imperative of ensuring New Zealand has quality high performance environments and the leadership and capability within those environments that enables individuals to thrive. This role will work closely with the other HPSNZ General Managers and NSO leadership to ensure we continue the meaningful system shift and enhance high performance environments to contribute to improved wellbeing and performance. In addition, this role will oversee key programmes including Leadership Capability, Women in High Performance Sport, Healthy Women in Performance Sport and Performance Life. The General Manager Wellbeing and Leadership is an important member of the HPSNZ Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting time to be part of leading HPSNZ as we support all invested NSOs ambitions, sharpen our focus to the 2028 LA Olympic and Paralympic Games and look forward to Brisbane 2032. To be successful in this role you will have a track record of successfully leading significant programmes, experience developing and leading initiatives aimed at increasing capability in a corporate or high performance sport environment, an understanding of wellbeing, and therefore a quality performance environment, in a high performance sport context and be a strong communicator and senior trusted advisor at Executive level. You will be able to innovate, analyse and problem solve, and be a highly capable networker, stakeholder manager and influencer. Leading a team with extensive experience and expertise in a world-class high performance sport system, the role requires a dynamic and inspirational leader with the ability to develop meaningful working relationships.
