General Manager/COO

Cleveland Yachting Club in Rocky River, Ohio, is seeking a General Manager / Chief Operating Officer to lead a private, member-owned club on an island in the Rocky River near Lake Erie, west of downtown Cleveland. Anchored in the tradition of yachting and valued for its family-oriented character, the Club is completing a renovation of its main clubhouse, including a new kitchen, with reopening planned for 2027.

The GM/COO oversees all Club operations, including staff, food and beverage, member services, facilities, waterfront operations, and finances. First-year priorities include leading the clubhouse reopening, stabilizing the front- and back-of-house teams, implementing service standards and staff training ahead of the 2027 season, and helping shape the Club’s strategic plan.

The Club seeks a member-focused leader with 7+ years of senior private club or hospitality experience, a strong food and beverage background, and a proven record of building and retaining stable, service-oriented teams. Yacht club, marina, or waterfront experience and CCM or CCE designation preferred. Competitive compensation, performance bonus, and relocation support offered.
