In this pivotal leadership role, you will act as the business unit head—serving as the ultimate authority and single point of accountability for all operational, technical, and commercial aspects of our construction projects. You will seamlessly bridge office-level strategic management with rigorous on-site execution, driving projects from excavation and structural completion through to final handover while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and profitability. Key Responsibilities - Overall Business Unit Leadership: Take total P&L and operational ownership of the construction division, steering office teams, project managers, site engineers, and construction personnel toward company objectives. - Site Execution & Quality Governance: Regularly visit active construction sites (including multi-story buildings and villas) across Dubai to ensure rigorous adherence to approved structural drawings, architectural specifications, and engineering standards. - Consultant & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary executive escalation point for consultants, main contractors, clients, and municipal authorities. Lead high-level technical discussions, resolve site disputes proactively, and drive smooth project correspondence. - Regulatory Compliance & Authorities: Ensure all construction activities strictly comply with local statutory regulations, building codes, and authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Dubai South, and relevant master developers). - Commercial & Subcontractor Oversight: Oversee vendor evaluations, technical submittals, material selections (including structural steel, concrete, sanitaryware, and building systems), and subcontractor performance to protect profit margins and timelines. - Resource & Schedule Optimization: Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, and material procurement across multiple simultaneous construction projects (such as G+ structures and residential developments) to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize project schedules. Candidate Profile & Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. (A Master's degree or PMP certification is an advantage). - Experience: Min 8 years of progressive experience in the UAE civil construction sector , with at least 5 years operating in a senior leadership or divisional head capacity. - Track Record: Proven history of successfully delivering complex construction projects (G+9 structures, residential buildings, and villas) from ground-breaking to handover within the UAE. - Contractual Acumen: Deep familiarity with regional contract frameworks (such as FIDIC) and standard operating procedures for managing consultants and subcontractors. - Regulatory Expertise: Extensive, hands-on experience navigating Dubai municipal codes, structural inspection milestones, and authority approvals. - Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, strong conflict-resolution capabilities, and an authoritative yet collaborative management style that inspires trust and accountability.
