We are representing an established, rapidly growing electrical contractor seeking a General Manager to lead its Austin branch, overseeing electrical service operations and commercial/retail construction projects.

With approximately $45 million in annual revenue and plans to reach $100 million over the next three to five years, this is an opportunity to take full ownership of branch performance and shape its next stage of growth.

The Role:

• Financial performance: Own the branch P&L, budgets, forecasting, WIP and profitability.
• Operations: Lead service and construction teams, ensuring safe, efficient delivery and strong customer service.
• Branch KPIs: Drive performance across margins, labor productivity, resource utilization and project delivery.
• Business growth: Strengthen customer relationships, win repeat business and develop new opportunities in the Austin market.
• People leadership: Recruit, develop and retain strong managers and field teams, building the capacity to support continued growth.
• Strategy: Work closely with executive leadership to grow revenue while protecting profit and delivery standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Electrical contracting leadership: Experience running a branch, division or substantial business unit.
• P&L management: Financial responsibility for an operation around $45 million or a comparable scale.
• Service and construction experience: A strong understanding of electrical service operations and commercial/retail project delivery.
• Austin market knowledge: Existing relationships with local general contractors, customers and business partners are highly desirable.
• Commercial strength: A track record of generating profit, improving margins and growing a business.
• Team leadership: Experience developing managers, leading field workforces and driving accountability.

Relevant backgrounds include General Manager, Branch Manager, Division Manager, Director of Operations, VP of Operations and Project Executive.

Package:

• $230,000–$300,000 base salary + bonus
