We trade five days a week, which means you run a busy venue properly without working seven. We're looking for a General Manager to take full ownership of Blue Bar: the team, the guest experience and the numbers. What you'll do - Run day-to-day operations across floor, bar and kitchen, leading from the front on busy services - Ensure consistent quality across the whole team, from food on the pass to service at the table - Work closely with the Head Chef on food standards, menu delivery and kitchen performance - Recruit, train, roster and develop the team - Hit targets for sales, GP and labour cost, and report weekly to the owner - Manage stock, ordering and supplier relationships - Own health and safety, food safety and outdoor seating compliance What you'll need - At least 4 years as a General Manager or Assistant GM in a restaurant or food-led bar - A track record of managing a P&L, rosters and stock - High food and service standards, and the ability to hold a team to them - A hands-on leadership style Why join us - Five-day trading week - Performance bonus on top of base salary - Full ownership of a busy, food-led harbour venue Job Type: Full-time Pay: €50,000.00-€58,000.00 per year Benefits: - Company pension - Employee discount - Sick pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Dublin, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: - Restaurant management: 5 years (required) Language: - English (required) Location: - Dublin, County Dublin (preferred) Work Location: In person
