Location: Dubai, UAE Salary: AED 3,000 - 3600 per month, depending on experience Employment Type: Full-time Working Days: Monday to Saturday About Us Star Bright Day Nursery is a group of UK nurseries managed from our Head Office in Dubai. We are looking for a General Administrator to provide day-to-day administrative support across our business, as well as general executive and personal administrative support to the CEO. This is a varied office-based role involving data entry, emails, filing, updating records and supporting different departments with their administrative tasks. Working Hours The successful candidate must be available to work the following UK hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM UK time Saturday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM UK time Sunday: Day off As the UK changes its clocks between British Summer Time (BST) and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), the corresponding working hours in Dubai will change throughout the year: Day UK Summer (BST) – Dubai Time UK Winter (GMT) – Dubai Time Monday–Friday 11:00 AM–9:00 PM 12:00 PM–10:00 PM Saturday 11:00 AM–5:00 PM 12:00 PM–6:00 PM Applicants must be comfortable working these hours and adjusting their schedule when the UK clocks change. Key Responsibilities General Administration & Data Entry Carry out accurate data entry and update company systems. Manage emails and respond to routine enquiries. Maintain electronic files, spreadsheets and records. Prepare letters, forms and other administrative documents. Update trackers and maintain accurate records. Assist with filing, document organisation and general office duties. Support the CEO and management team with administrative tasks as required. HR & Recruitment Administration Support recruitment administration, including advertising vacancies and arranging interviews. Prepare recruitment and onboarding paperwork. Request and follow up references and DBS documentation. Prepare offer letters, contracts and other HR correspondence using approved templates. Maintain employee files and HR records. Update training, holiday, absence and compliance trackers. Provide general administrative support to the Area Manager. Admissions Administration Respond to parent enquiries by email and telephone. Book nursery show rounds and appointments. Follow up prospective parents. Process enrolment forms and update admissions systems. Maintain waiting lists and parent records. Assist with funding documentation and other admissions paperwork. Nursery Administration Provide general administrative support to Nursery Managers. Prepare parent letters, forms and communications. Update nursery records and compliance trackers. Assist with ordering and administrative coordination. Support the organisation of nursery events and activities. Help ensure documentation is accurate, organised and up to date. CEO & Personal Administration Provide general administrative and personal assistance to the CEO. Manage appointments, diary bookings and reminders. Assist with travel arrangements, bookings and itineraries. Carry out online research and assist with purchases and reservations. Help organise personal documents, records and correspondence. Follow up on appointments, bookings and other administrative matters. Assist with other reasonable personal and business administrative tasks as required. Other Duties Support administrative projects relating to the nursery group and developing consultancy. Assist with marketing administration, including scheduling content and updating records where required. Carry out other reasonable administrative duties across the business. Requirements Previous administration or office experience. Excellent English, both written and verbal, is essential. Ability to write clear, professional emails and communicate confidently by telephone. Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Good typing and data entry skills. Strong attention to detail. Organised and able to manage daily tasks. Reliable, professional and willing to learn. Able to work independently and follow instructions. Professional and discreet when handling confidential information. Must be available to work the UK working hours stated above, including Saturdays. Experience in HR, recruitment, admissions or the education sector would be an advantage, but is not essential. What We Offer Salary of AED 3,000– 3600 per month, depending on experience.
