GENERAL ACCOUNTANT
Position Overview We are looking for a high-potential General Accountant who is not only technically competent but also has the capability to grow into a supervisory or managerial role within the next 3 years . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning, takes ownership, collaborates well with others, and is willing to step outside a traditional accounting role to help the business succeed. As a potential leader, the ideal candidate is someone that: Can influence others without relying on authority Makes sound decisions Remains composed under pressure Is willing to coach and help teammates grow Thinks beyond completing tasks and looks for better ways of working Key Responsibilities The role will be exposed to various areas of accounting and finance, including: Accounts Receivable management and collections Sales reporting and reconciliation Payroll processing Tax compliance and preparation of supporting schedules Bank and account reconciliations Recording transactions using Xero or similar accounting software Assisting in financial reporting and analysis Participating in process improvement initiatives Supporting cross-functional projects as the business grows The successful candidate should be comfortable handling responsibilities beyond their assigned function when needed. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related accounting course Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience: Accounts Receivable, Sales reporting, Payroll, Tax compliance, ournal entries and general accounting and Accounting software (preferably Xero) Strong Excel skills and good analytical ability Experience in a manufacturing company is an advantage Job Type: Full-time Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: Quezon City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Accounts Receivable: 3 years (Required) Sales reporting: 3 years (Required) Payroll: 3 years (Required) Tax compliance: 3 years (Required) Journal entries and general accounting: 3 years (Required) Accounting software (preferably Xero): 3 years (Required) Accounting: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
