Garment QC Specialist

About us

We’re an established tailoring house in Riyadh making garments to measure and in small production runs. Our quality is what our clients pay for, and we need one person to protect it.

The role

You’ll check every garment before it reaches a client. That means fit, measurements, stitching, finishing and pressing. You’ll catch problems early, send work back to the right tailor with clear notes, and stop the same mistake from happening twice.

What you’ll do

• Inspect garments at each stage: after cutting, during sewing and before final pressing and packing
• Check measurements against the order and the pattern, within agreed tolerances
• Check stitching, seams, linings, buttons, zips, hems, collars and finishing
• Check fabric before cutting for defects, shading and shrinkage
• Reject faulty pieces and explain the fix clearly to the tailor
• Keep a simple QC log with defects, rework and who made each piece
• Report recurring problems to the workshop manager and help set quality standards
• Do final approval and packing checks before delivery

What we’re looking for

• At least 3 years in garment QC, either in tailoring or in factory production
• Strong eye for detail and a solid understanding of how garments are built
• Able to read a spec sheet and take accurate measurements
• Experience with tailored garments, abayas or thobes is a strong plus
• Firm but fair. You’ll need to send work back without causing friction
• Arabic, English, Hindi or Urdu. Any two is ideal
• Candidates inside Saudi Arabia with a transferable iqama are preferred. Overseas candidates are also welcome
