Responsibilities - Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of garage door installation projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. - Manage project teams including subcontractors, technicians, and vendors to ensure seamless coordination and high performance. - Develop detailed project plans utilizing construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, or similar tools to track progress and milestones. - Oversee construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory standards. - Review construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to verify accuracy and feasibility before implementation. - Monitor project costs through effective cost management strategies, including budgeting, change order processing, and resource allocation. - Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to communicate project status updates and resolve issues promptly. - Ensure compliance with all construction regulations and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle. - Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or Civil 3D for accurate resource planning and cost forecasting. - Maintain comprehensive documentation including contracts, schedules, change orders, and progress reports for audit purposes. Qualifications - Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a focus on installation or specialty trades such as garage doors. - Strong proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 (Primavera), Prolog, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, or equivalent platforms. - Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project timeline coordination. - Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards. - Solid understanding of construction regulations, building codes, permits, and regulatory compliance requirements. - Excellent blueprint reading skills coupled with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. - Experience in contract management, cost control strategies, and budget oversight for large-scale projects. - Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. - Construction site experience combined with excellent communication skills for clear stakeholder engagement.
