HOMARY is a globally leading modern furniture and home lifestyle brand. We currently operate two UK showrooms – Chiswick (London) and Birmingham – and are expanding through new stores and a franchising programme across the UK. We are now building the franchise operations team to support this new business line.

The Role

This role sits within the Franchise Project Preparatory Team. You will help prepare and launch the franchise programme and support franchise stores in their operations management — including store opening preparation, visual merchandising and sample management, sales target delivery, team coaching, and coordination with warehouse, delivery and after-sales. This is a hands-on store-operations role: you will work on the shop floor and with franchise partners, not in a pure office or regional capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Franchise Store Operations: support franchise stores in daily operations — opening preparation, staffing and rostering guidance, inventory and sample control, and customer service standards.
• Sales & Performance: help franchise stores achieve monthly sales targets; review store KPIs and provide improvement plans.
• Team Coaching: train and coach franchise store teams on conversion rates, average transaction value and on-floor selling standards.
• Customer Experience: support franchise partners in handling high-value clients and escalated issues, maintaining the brand's premium image.
• Visual Merchandising & Standards: ensure franchise store layout, displays and cleanliness reflect global brand guidelines.
• Franchise Programme Preparation: assist in creating operational playbooks, training materials and opening checklists for franchise partners.
• Market Intelligence: monitor UK furniture market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to refine franchise sales strategies.

Requirements

• Retail Management Experience: proven experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or Senior Supervisor in furniture, home décor, luxury, or high-end lifestyle retail.
• Franchise/Store Operations: experience in store operations, team coaching or store supervision; experience in franchising, B2B sales or channel development is a plus.
• Commercial Acumen: a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales and KPI targets.
• UK Market Knowledge: solid understanding of UK mid-market furniture consumer behaviour and retail operations.
• Language Skills: fluent English (native/near-native) and fluent Mandarin Chinese (essential for daily communication with headquarters).
• Personal Attributes: highly organised, self-motivated, comfortable in a fast-paced environment with regular weekend work and occasional travel to franchise stores.
