We serve Hispanic, Chinese and other communities that larger platforms underserve, with our own rider app, driver app and operations built in-house. We are preparing to raise outside capital to scale in NYC and support our expansion into Latin America, starting with Lima, Peru. The Role You will own Paxxy's capital raise end to end, working directly with our CEO and founder. You will build the materials, find and qualify investors, run the pipeline and drive every conversation to a decision. The CEO leads the final pitch and closes; you make sure he walks into the right rooms, fully prepared, every week. This is a hands-on, startup role for someone who wants to learn fundraising from the inside and grow with the company. - Reports to: CEO / Founder - Location: On-site in our NYC-area office, Franklin Square, NY 11010 What You'll Do Investor materials - Build and maintain the pitch deck, one-pager and investment memo - Own the financial model (3 to 5 year projections, unit economics, use of funds) with input from the Product Owner - Set up and keep current a virtual data room: financials, KPIs, TLC licensing, contracts and cap table Investor pipeline - Research and build a target list of investors that fit Paxxy: mobility and marketplace VCs, angels, family offices, strategic partners and community-focused funds - Source warm introductions through the CEO's network, accelerators, startup events and LinkedIn - Run all investor outreach, scheduling and follow-up - Track every investor in a CRM (stage, last contact, next step, objections) and report weekly to the CEO Meetings and diligence - Prepare the CEO before each meeting: investor background, likely questions, key numbers - Join meetings, take notes and own the follow-up within 24 hours - Coordinate due diligence requests and term sheet review with our legal and accounting advisors Investor relations - Once capital is in, set up and send regular investor updates (monthly or quarterly) - Keep a warm list of investors for future rounds What We're Looking For - 2 to 4 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, startup finance, corporate development, consulting or a similar analytical role - Hands-on experience building financial models and investor-grade decks in Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint, Google Slides or similar - Understanding of how startup rounds work: SAFEs, convertible notes, priced rounds, valuation and dilution - Clear, confident written and spoken English; comfortable emailing and presenting to investors - Highly organized: you run a pipeline with dozens of conversations and nothing falls through the cracks - Startup mindset: you take ownership, move fast and are comfortable with ambiguity - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field Nice to Have - Spanish (a big plus: much of our team works in Spanish) - An existing network of NYC angels, VCs or family offices - Experience supporting a fundraise that closed - Background in mobility, ride-hailing, transportation or two-sided marketplaces - Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Affinity) and data room platforms (DocSend, Google Drive) Compensation and Logistics - Salary: $75,000 per year - Type: Full-time - Location: On-site, Franklin Square, NY 11010 - Open question: equity or performance bonus to be confirmed by the CEO before posting How to Apply Send your resume and a short note (5 sentences max) telling us about a deck, model or fundraise you worked on and what your role was.
