Tride works on solutions involving predictive analytics, real-time asset and fleet monitoring, intelligent asset management, operational optimisation, and AI-powered decision systems. Role Overview We are looking for a Functional Consultant who can understand business and operational requirements from clients and translate them into clear functional requirements for Tride's technology and product teams. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, customers, product teams, developers, and project teams to understand processes, identify problems, document requirements, and support the successful implementation of technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Understand client business processes, operational challenges, and requirements. Conduct discussions with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements. Analyse and document Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD). Convert business requirements into clear functional specifications for development teams. Create process flows, use cases, user stories, and functional documentation. Work closely with product managers, developers, QA teams, and project managers. Support configuration and implementation of functional requirements in technology solutions. Participate in requirement analysis, solution discussions, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Prepare test scenarios and validate whether the developed solution meets business requirements. Coordinate with clients during implementation and resolve functional queries. Identify gaps between existing business processes and proposed technology solutions. Support demonstrations and presentations of solutions to customers. Understand operational data, dashboards, alerts, reports, and workflow requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement and optimisation of business processes. Required Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of business processes and requirement gathering. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Good documentation skills. Knowledge of BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, process flows, and UAT. Basic understanding of software development and SDLC. Ability to analyse requirements and convert them into functional specifications. Good working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and documentation tools. Willingness to learn domain-specific processes in Aviation, Railways/Mobility, AI, and IoT. Work-ex on AI specific use-cases. Preferred Skills Exposure to Aviation, Railways, Mobility, Fleet Management, MRO, Asset Management, or IoT-based solutions. Basic understanding of APIs, databases, dashboards, or cloud-based applications. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar requirement/project management tools. Experience in client-facing or consulting roles is an advantage. Eligibility Experience: Candidates with relevant experience can be considered. For experience, candidates from Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Business/Management, Operations, or related backgrounds with strong analytical and communication skills can be considered.
