You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling core web applications from the database to the user interface. This role focuses purely on hands-on technical execution within the Laravel and modern web ecosystem, operating in a collaborative environment based in Jakarta. The responsibilities of this role include: · Develop and maintain scalable web applications and features using Laravel and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js or React). · Build, test, and document robust RESTful APIs for seamless front-end and third-party integrations. · Write clean, efficient, and maintainable server-side PHP code utilizing Laravel’s Eloquent ORM, service containers, and migration tools. · Implement responsive, accessible user interfaces using modern CSS frameworks (such as Tailwind CSS) and JavaScript/TypeScript. · Design, build, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins to automate testing, builds, and deployments. · Optimize database queries, indexing, and data structures in relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) to ensure high performance. · Write comprehensive automated tests (unit and feature tests) and participate in peer code reviews to maintain high code quality standards. · Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities across the application stack. Relevant desirable skills and experience: · Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong, demonstrable focus on Laravel and modern web technologies. · Technical Stack: o Backend : Proficiency in PHP 8+ and the Laravel framework, including queue management and task scheduling. o Frontend : Solid command of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frontend libraries/frameworks (Vue.js or React). o D atabase & Tools : Proficient with MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Git version control, Docker. Familiar with Linux environment is a plus. · Competencies: Strong problem-solving mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative development team. · Experience in WordPress customisation & enviromenment development is preferrable · DevOps & CI/CD: Proven hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker · Language: Professional working proficiency in both English and Indonesian. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. · 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development. · Strong proficiency in Laravel, JavaScript/TypeScript , HTML, and CSS. · Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular . · Experience developing back-end applications using Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or similar technologies . · Good understanding of RESTful APIs, databases, authentication, and web security . · Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis . · Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows. · Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure is a plus. · Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. · Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team.
