# Full Stack Developer **International Union of Operating Engineers Local 793 (IUOE Local 793)** · Oakville, ON L6L 6X8 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Profile : Reporting to the CTO, the Full Stack Developer will be a generalist with broad experience who can work autonomously through the development lifecycle, including developing and maintaining various digital platforms and software solutions for the organizations, including all websites, mobile applications, online stores, etc. Job Responsibilities / Duties : 1. To undertake project planning and system analysis including: - Meeting with project stakeholders to determine their business needs; - Collaborating with co-workers to understand how your solution will fit into existing business processes and workflows; - Researching and selecting candidate technologies for use in your solution; - Determining the broad architecture of your solution, utilizing your chosen technologies; - Preparing a proposal outlining the identified problem, project scope, goals, required resources, and project milestones. 2. To undertake design and development including: - Mapping your proposal goals into discrete features and deliverables; - Setup the initial project scaffolding, based on your proposed system architecture. - Designing and implementing the user interface (front end) and server-side code (back end) of your solution; - Developing and maintaining your codebase with an emphasis on security, performance, accessibility, and usability; - Writing and running automated and manual testing throughout the development cycle; - Creating and maintaining end-user and API documentation. 3. To undertake deployment and maintenance including: - Provisioning and configuring network and server resources; - Setup automated deployment pipelines; - Monitoring server and application logs for errors and anomalous behaviour; - Reviewing and updating dependencies, libraries, components, and plugins for security, performance, and compatibility improvements; - Performing continuous improvements, updates, and new features to existing applications as required. 4. Other I.T. job duties and special projects as may be assigned by the Business Manager, CTO and/or Human Resources Department. Job Requirements: - A college or university degree in a computer science, software engineering, or a related field; - Full stack developer training certification; - 5 or more years experience in a similar full stack developer role; - Strong background in code development, specifically in Java, HTML, PHP, & JavaScript; - Experience with PHP: Laravel (API and Monolith, Sanctum, Blade, Statamic, Inertia), WordPress (REST API, WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, Gravity Forms); - Experience with JavaScript: Vite, Vue/React; - Experience with CSS: Tailwind; - Experience with HTML: Accessibility (WCAG, ARIA), Semantic Markup; - Experience with Web Servers: Linux, CI/CD Pipelines (GitHub Actions), Cloud Hosting (Azure App Service); - Experience with Database Services: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cloud Hosting (Azure Database for PostgreSQL); - Experience with Java: Strong experience with Java 21, including Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and integration with MySQL databases and existing enterprise applications; - Solid knowledge and experience in the programming language, terminology, and applications, such as Wix and WordPress; - Experience setting up and working with testing frameworks; - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; - Proven ability to meet deadlines; - Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them; - Experience in graphic design & UX design work would be considered an asset; - Experience with both Microsoft and Apple (mac) systems; - Excellent written, oral and telephone communication skills; - Able to communicate in user-friendly language; - Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and prioritization skills; - A team player who is able to work effectively under pressure; - A high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times; - Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment; - Willing and able to travel between offices as needed; - Must have a valid license and regular access to a vehicle. Work Conditions: - this is an in-person role; - manual dexterity required to use computers and peripherals; - some travel between various work locations for in-person project support and execution as needed.
