About Cohort

Cohort is a Dubai-based technology company building websites, custom software, AI-powered applications, and business automation solutions for businesses.

We are looking for a resourceful Full-Stack Developer who can independently build and deploy software, use AI coding agents effectively, and contribute to identifying new business opportunities.

This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working in a small, fast-moving technology company, learning new tools, and taking ownership of projects from idea to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

Develop and maintain websites, web applications, dashboards, and internal tools.

Build front-end and back-end functionality using modern development frameworks.

Integrate APIs, databases, authentication, and third-party services.

Test, debug, deploy, and maintain applications.

Translate business requirements into working software.

AI-Assisted Development

Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar agents to improve development speed.

Apply AI-assisted workflows to code generation, debugging, testing, and documentation.

Independently review and verify AI-generated code.

Research and experiment with emerging AI development tools.

AI Automation

Build automated workflows using n8n, Make, Zapier, Python, or similar tools.

Connect business systems, APIs, websites, and databases.

Develop simple AI-powered tools and integrations.

Identify opportunities to automate repetitive business tasks.

Business Development Support

During periods with limited development work, research potential clients and business opportunities.

Identify businesses that could benefit from websites, custom software, or AI automation.

Prepare lead lists and conduct professional outreach through approved channels.

Help prepare technical proposals, demonstrations, and project estimates.

Track leads, follow-ups, and customer requirements.

Support client meetings and technical discussions when needed.

Requirements

2–5 years of full-stack development experience preferred.

Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Next.js, and Node.js or Python.

Experience with relational databases, APIs, and Git.

Practical experience using AI coding assistants or agents.

Ability to build and deploy complete web applications.

Basic understanding of hosting, deployment, application security, and testing.

Strong problem-solving and self-learning abilities.

Good English communication skills.

Willingness to participate in lead generation and business development activities.

Preferred Skills

Experience with n8n, Make, or Zapier.

Experience integrating LLM APIs.

Experience with Supabase, PostgreSQL, Docker, or cloud hosting.

Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, or other website platforms.

Previous freelance, agency, or startup experience.
