We are a fast-moving marketing agency working with small and mid-sized businesses across a variety of industries. Our development team supports websites, web applications, mobile applications, e-commerce stores, landing pages, custom integrations, and ongoing digital development projects. We’re looking for someone with strong modern development skills who can work across both traditional websites and custom applications. Just as importantly, we want someone who is willing to listen, learn, communicate, problem-solve, and take ownership of their work. Core Technical Skills Candidates should have experience and a strong working knowledge of: React React Native JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 Figma Claude Code and AI-assisted development workflows APIs and third-party integrations JSON PHP WordPress Shopify Bootstrap Git / version control Responsive website and application development Experience working with modern front-end frameworks, component-based development, and API-driven applications is highly preferred. Responsibilities As a Front End Developer at AvidSphere, you will: Build and maintain modern websites, web applications, and landing pages Develop front-end applications using React and JavaScript Assist with mobile application development using React Native Convert Figma designs into responsive, functional websites and applications Work with designers to take projects from concept and prototype to finished development Build reusable components and scalable front-end systems Integrate applications with APIs, databases, and third-party platforms Use Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools to improve development speed, troubleshooting, documentation, and workflow efficiency Build, customize, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites Troubleshoot and resolve website and application bugs Test websites and applications across devices, browsers, and screen sizes Improve website speed, usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and overall performance Work with hosting environments, domains, DNS, cPanel, and related infrastructure Assist with website migrations, backups, updates, and maintenance Work alongside our digital, creative, advertising, and account teams Communicate clearly regarding project status, challenges, timelines, and solutions Help support client websites and applications when unexpected issues arise Preferred Skills & Experience We’re especially interested in candidates who have experience with: React component architecture React Native mobile development Modern JavaScript development REST APIs and third-party API integrations Figma-to-code development AI-assisted coding tools, particularly Claude Code GitHub or other Git-based development workflows Custom WordPress development Shopify customization and development E-commerce development Website and application debugging Database integrations Responsive and mobile-first development Website speed and performance optimization Cross-browser compatibility SEO-friendly development practices Additional Skills That Are a Plus Experience with any of the following is helpful, but not required: Adobe Creative Suite Google Analytics Google Tag Manager Google Ads Meta Ads Manager ActiveCampaign Mailchimp CRM platforms Marketing automation platforms SEO tools and strategies What We Care About Most Technical ability is important, but we also place a major emphasis on attitude, communication, and reliability. The ideal candidate: Listens carefully and follows instructions Is willing and excited to learn new technologies Can independently research and solve technical problems Understands how to effectively use AI development tools without relying on them blindly Takes ownership of projects from start to finish Can work independently in a remote environment Communicates when they need help rather than allowing problems to sit Pays close attention to details Can manage multiple projects and priorities Is dependable and responsive Is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment Understands that websites and applications operate 24/7 Website emergencies are not common, but occasionally a client website or application may experience an issue outside of traditional business hours. We need someone who understands the nature of managing live digital products and is willing to help resolve time-sensitive problems when they arise.
