STOMP is an outdoor fitness and wellness business based in Surrey, offering a distinctive approach to exercise that combines walking and running with strength, cardiovascular fitness, nature and community. With a major brand relaunch underway and plans to grow into new locations, STOMP is looking for someone who can build and manage a simple, effective marketing system that consistently generates enquiries, trial bookings and new members. This is not primarily a social media management role. The focus is on lead generation, customer acquisition and conversion. The role Working approximately one day per week, the successful freelancer will take ownership of key areas of STOMP’s digital marketing, including: Planning, creating and managing Meta advertising campaigns across Facebook and Instagram Developing campaigns that generate qualified local leads and trial bookings Building and managing email marketing campaigns and automated customer journeys Developing lead funnels from initial advert through to trial booking and membership Creating landing pages and lead-capture campaigns Building retargeting audiences and campaigns Working with STOMP’s existing website, booking system and customer database Creating campaign assets and content in line with the STOMP brand Supporting new-location launches with targeted local marketing campaigns Monitoring campaign performance, conversion rates and cost per acquisition Providing clear monthly reporting on what is generating leads, trials and memberships Developing systems that can be replicated as STOMP expands into additional locations About you STOMP is looking for someone who is commercially minded as well as creative. You should have demonstrable experience in digital marketing and be comfortable taking responsibility for campaigns from initial idea through to measurable results. Experience with Meta Ads and email/CRM marketing is essential. Knowledge of platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, WordPress, Canva and Meta Ads Manager would be advantageous. Experience working with fitness, wellness, women’s health, lifestyle, membership or community-based businesses would also be valuable. Most importantly, applicants should be able to demonstrate previous campaigns where their work has generated measurable leads, customers or revenue. Working arrangement The role will initially be approximately one day per week on a freelance basis, with flexibility around how that day is structured. STOMP is based in Farnham, Surrey. Some work can be completed remotely, although being within reasonable travelling distance of Farnham would be preferable as occasional face-to-face working will be valuable. There is potential for the role to grow as STOMP expands. Rate £250 - £350 per day, depending on experience.
