Fractional HR Consultant – Korea

About the Role

BM Tech is looking for an experienced HR Consultant based in Korea to provide end-to-end HR support for our Korea operations on a fractional basis.

This role will work closely with the Korea leadership team and the India HR team to ensure effective people management, HR operations and compliance while supporting the growth of the business in Korea.

We are looking for someone who can operate independently, understands the Korean employment environment, and can act as a trusted HR partner to the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise management on Korean employment practices, labour regulations and HR policies .
• Support employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and other people-related issues.
• Support recruitment and hiring for Korea-based positions, including sourcing, screening and coordination with hiring managers.
• Partner with leadership on performance management, compensation, employee engagement and retention .
• Support implementation of HR policies and processes aligned with BM Tech's overall HR framework.
• Provide local HR insights to the India leadership team and ensure effective communication between Korea and India.
• Support organisation development and other HR initiatives as the Korea business grows.

What We Are Looking For

• 8–15+ years of HR experience
• Preferred to have worked in a manufacturing setup.
• Strong working knowledge of Korean labour and employment practices .
• Prior experience supporting small/medium-sized businesses, startups or lean organisations would be preferred.
• Experience managing HR independently across multiple HR functions.
• Strong understanding of employee relations, HR operations, payroll coordination and compliance .
• Experience in recruitment and stakeholder management .
• Ability to work effectively with senior business leaders and provide practical, business-oriented HR advice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• English proficiency is required for interaction with the India/global team.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, technology or other multinational organisations would be an advantage.
