Founding AI Engineer

Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience shipping production systems.

The ability to take an ambiguous problem and turn it into a practical, reliable product.

Experience building with LLMs, agents, or applied ML—or a strong engineering background and evidence that you can learn quickly.

Sound judgment about reliability, security, privacy, and when a workflow needs human oversight.

A willingness to work across the stack and stay close to users.

Clear communication, high standards, and a collaborative approach to solving problems.

Experience in healthcare, fintech, payments, developer infrastructure, or an early-stage startup is especially relevant. You don’t need to have worked in healthcare before.

Build and ship AI agents that support clinical documentation, patient follow-up, and care coordination across the patient journey.

Own projects end to end: understand the problem, design the system, ship it, and improve it based on customer feedback.

Build the infrastructure that makes agents dependable, including integrations, tool use, evaluations, monitoring, and human review.

Work directly with practices to turn complex care workflows into software that helps clinicians stay informed and patients get the care they need.
