Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Fostering Team Manager to lead our Growth (Recruitment) and Operations (Placements) teams. This pivotal role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and overseeing placement operations to ensure seamless support for our foster care initiatives. Duties Lead and supervise recruitment activities to attract and onboard qualified foster carers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and community stakeholders to facilitate effective placements and program growth. Oversee the placement process from initial inquiry through onboarding, ensuring timely and compliant execution of all steps. Manage administrative tasks related to recruitment and placements, including data entry, record keeping, and reporting to support program management. Coordinate team schedules, set performance goals, and provide ongoing coaching to foster team development and high performance. Monitor key metrics related to recruitment pipelines, placement success rates, and stakeholder satisfaction; implement improvements as needed. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and best practices in foster care recruitment and placement operations. Experience 3+ years proven experience in relationship management within social services or nonprofit sectors, particularly in foster care or similar programs. Demonstrated management or supervisory experience leading teams in fast-paced environments. Strong administrative skills with experience handling program documentation, reporting, and data management systems. Background in program management with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a positive outlook and proactive approach. Prior experience in recruitment or operational roles within social services is highly desirable.
