The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient production, maintaining product quality, achieving production targets, and supervising extrusion press operators and helpers. Key Responsibilities Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Press G aluminium extrusion line . Manage and allocate tasks to extrusion operators and helpers. Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved efficiently. Monitor billet heating, extrusion parameters, die changes, and profile production. Ensure aluminium profiles are produced according to approved specifications and quality standards. Coordinate with the QC, Die Shop, Maintenance, and Production Planning teams. Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns or technical issues promptly. Minimize production downtime and material wastage. Maintain production records, including output, wastage, downtime, and material consumption. Conduct regular checks during extrusion to identify quality issues. Ensure proper handling, cutting, cooling, and stacking of extruded profiles. Follow company procedures related to health, safety, housekeeping, and PPE . Train and guide operators and helpers on proper extrusion procedures and safe working practices. Report production and operational issues to the Production Manager. Requirements Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aluminium extrusion or extrusion press operations. Strong hands-on knowledge of aluminium extrusion processes and press operations . Experience with die changing, billet handling, extrusion parameters, and profile quality requirements. Previous experience as an Extrusion Foreman / Press Foreman / Extrusion Supervisor is preferred. Good knowledge of production targets, quality control, and machine safety. Ability to supervise and manage a production team. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. UAE/GCC aluminium extrusion industry experience is an advantage.
