Evaluate and assess test outcomes against defined specifications, standards, and quality requirements. Conduct risk assessments to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of laboratory results, and implement corrective measures when necessary. Review and authorize microbiological test results for product release. Support the development, enhancement, and validation of analytical methods and testing procedures. Analyze laboratory data and quality trends to identify potential food safety and quality concerns, support investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain laboratory documentation in compliance with ISO 17025 requirements and ensure records are complete and current. Ensure proper record management, documentation practices, and traceability of all laboratory activities. Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 17025 standards and technical laboratory requirements. Participate in internal audits, external assessments, and accreditation programs. Collaborate with Quality Control teams to ensure non-conformances related to raw materials and finished products are promptly addressed and effectively closed out. Support investigations into food safety incidents, product complaints, and quality-related issues. Prepare corrective and preventive action (CAPA) reports and monitor follow-up activities. Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or a related field, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of microbiological principles, including method development and validation. Hands-on experience in microbiological testing and operation of laboratory equipment. Basic understanding of chemistry and chemical properties is advantageous. Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to quality and food safety is beneficial.
