# FOH Operations & Training Manager **PROHIBITION** · Salt Lake City, UT 84107 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role FOH Operations & Training Manager Prohibition & Repeal | Salt Lake City / Murray, Utah Full Time | $68,000–$75,000 Annual Salary Prohibition and Repeal are seeking a strong people leader to serve as FOH Operations & Training Manager across two independently owned, 21+ hospitality concepts. This position is built around a simple objective: Develop excellent employees and leaders who consistently deliver the intended guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role combining employee development, FOH operations, service standards, scheduling, guest relations, and day-to-day people management. It is not a traditional restaurant management position built around routinely covering shifts or closing the business. The position reports to the General Manager and works with leadership at both locations. What You'll Do Lead FOH recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and continued employee development across both locations. Prepare FOH schedules and proactively maintain appropriate staffing levels. Teach and reinforce Steps of Service, service expectations, and operating standards. Observe employees during actual service and provide direct, constructive coaching. Address performance issues through coaching, corrective action, and accountability. Make and carry out disciplinary and termination decisions in coordination with senior management. Develop Key Managers, shift leaders, and employees with leadership potential. Maintain an active management presence during selected services, including meaningful guest interaction and guest recovery. Identify recurring employee, service, or operational issues and develop practical solutions. Work with senior leadership to continuously improve training, policies, service standards, and FOH operating practices. Support operations during high-volume or challenging services when needed. Prohibition and Repeal intentionally have different service styles. Prohibition operates with an upscale-casual approach, while Repeal delivers a more refined, fine-dining level of service without traditional white-tablecloth formality. This manager must understand and develop employees capable of delivering the appropriate experience at each location. Who We're Looking For We care more about your ability to lead and develop people than about having a particular title on your résumé. Strong candidates will have demonstrated experience: Leading and developing frontline employees. Training employees and reinforcing standards after initial onboarding. Giving clear feedback and holding employees accountable. Handling difficult employee conversations professionally. Developing supervisors or emerging leaders. Managing staffing and schedules. Working directly with guests and resolving concerns. Maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment. Organizing multiple priorities and working independently. Experience leading, training, and developing employees in a customer-facing organization is preferred. Restaurant, bar, hotel, hospitality, retail, or similar service-industry experience is valuable but not required. Schedule This is a full-time salaried management position structured around an average 45-hour workweek . The schedule combines daytime training, scheduling, and management responsibilities with regular evening and weekend presence. This is not a routine closing-manager position , although the successful candidate will learn the complete operation and must be capable of managing opening, service, and closing responsibilities when needed. Compensation $68,000–$75,000 annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications. About Prohibition & Repeal Prohibition is a 21+ speakeasy-inspired bar, dining, and live-entertainment concept in Murray combining cocktails, food, live music, burlesque, and upscale-casual hospitality. Repeal is a 21+ speakeasy-inspired jazz club and bar in Salt Lake City featuring dinner, cocktails, and live jazz nightly, with a more refined level of service. We are looking for someone who wants to do more than manage a shift. We want a leader who can make employees, emerging leaders, and ultimately both businesses better. The strongest measure of success will be simple: the employees and leaders you work with become better because of your leadership. Pay: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): Are you able to work a flexible full-time schedule averaging approximately 45 hours per week, including regular evenings and weekends? Have you been responsible for training employees beyond their initial onboarding, including ongoing coaching, retraining, or development? Have you directly supervised employees during live customer-facing operations such as restaurants, bars, hotels, retail, entertainment, or another high-service environment? This position requires regular work at both Murray and Salt Lake City locations. Are you able to reliably work at both locations? Work Location: In person
