Floor Manager cum Lead technicians cum Electricians

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on professional to run our workshop floor, lead the technicians, and handle vehicle electrical diagnostics and repairs. You will make sure customer vehicles are repaired correctly, safely and on time, and that the garage runs smoothly and keeps customers coming back.

Key Responsibilities

Floor management

• Plan and assign daily jobs, and track each vehicle from check-in to delivery.
• Supervise technicians, helpers and cleaners, and manage attendance and workload.
• Check job cards and give customers or service advisors accurate time and cost estimates.
• Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe.
• Control tools, equipment, spare parts and stock, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Handle delays, rework and customer concerns calmly and professionally.
• Keep job records, service history and daily progress reports up to date.

Lead technician

• Inspect vehicles, diagnose faults and carry out servicing and repairs to a high standard.
• Check the team’s work, run final quality checks and road tests, and approve jobs for delivery.
• Train and guide junior technicians, and set good working practices.
• Make sure repairs follow manufacturer procedures and use the correct parts.
• Recommend extra work to customers honestly when it is needed.

Electrician duties

• Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and electronic faults using scan tools, multimeters and diagnostic equipment.
• Repair wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, lighting, sensors, A/C controls, central locking and infotainment systems.
• Install and test accessories such as cameras, trackers, sound systems and lighting.
• Maintain the workshop’s electrical equipment and power supply, in line with local regulations.

Health, safety and compliance

• Enforce safety rules, PPE use and safe handling of tools, chemicals, oils and waste.
• Make sure lifts, compressors and equipment are checked and maintained.
• Follow UAE and Dubai workshop, environmental and trade licence requirements.
• Report accidents, damage and near misses promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or trade certificate in automotive technology, electrical engineering or a related field.
• At least [5-7] years of garage experience, including [2+] years as a supervisor or senior technician.
• Strong experience in vehicle electrical diagnostics, preferably on German brands.
• Valid UAE driving licence, and UAE experience preferred.

• Leadership and the ability to manage a team and keep the floor organised.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Time management, with attention to quality and detail.
• Basic computer skills for job cards, invoices and stock.
• Good English; Arabic, Hindi, Urdu or other languages are a plus.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
